Position Overview:
The Advisor role is one of support and training in all aspects of working with clients to give advice and deliver solid financial plans. This role will work with and be trained by the team’s Senior Lead Advisor as well as to collaborate with the team’s Client Service Administrator. This role is a steppingstone to a Lead Advisor position.
Responsibilities:
- Draft client financial plans by gathering data, modeling, case design, scenario building, plan development and presentations development
- Perform asset allocation analysis necessary for client onboarding & portfolio reviews
- Create custom analysis of financial decisions
- Prepare presentations and other materials necessary for client meetings
- Answer routine client questions and service requests
- Support the Lead/Sr. Lead Advisor with analysis, client service and technical assistance
- Attending client meetings and taking extensive notes
- Learn the technical aspects of the advisor position in preparation of future promotion to service clients independently
- Specific analytical responsibilities may include:
- Analyzing client information and preparing reports and presentations
- Analyzing asset allocation for lead advisor decision-making process
- Mastering the financial planning process
- Expert user of all the technology utilized by the firm
- Creating custom spreadsheets for analyzing purchase decisions or planning scenarios (if outside of planning tool)
- Specific client service responsibilities may include:

- Answering basic questions for clients (license may be required for some)
- Showing clients how to access their accounts and read statements
- Handling requests for transfers of funds in and out of accounts
- Filling out necessary forms for opening or maintaining accounts (if not performed by as CSA)
- Interfacing with the custodian to obtain information, account data and convey service requests
- Maintain information in the CRM system
- Set up and retrieve reports in the portfolio management system
- Acting as backup for team’s client service administrators as needed
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred
- Strong Working knowledge of Excel and other Office applications
- CFP
- Experienced using the various tools of the profession – (i.e. financial planning software, analytical tools, custodian systems)

Salary Range:
$100k - $140k based on experience and references

Mon-Thursday 8:00a-5p, Friday 8:00-4p
